	NBCC International's governance structure focuses on transparency and is headed by an elected Advisory Council. The Advisory Council, all of whom identify as counselors or members of a related profession, serve time limited terms. The Permanent Staff are regular full-time staff members with the expertise to execute Advisory Council initiatives.
