Nobody doubts the need for such services, but so far efforts to deliver them have been sporadic. With prestigious allies such as the World Health Organization, UNESCO, and the International Association for Educational and Vocational Guidance, and building on already existing relationships with regional and national counseling entities on every continent, we hope to spread the availability of competent, reliable professional services to any part of the world that indicates an interest in acquiring them.

However, we will do this with utmost care and respect for the social, cultural, political, and economic realities of the various areas where we are invited. We offer a menu of universally accepted principles and templates and then collaborate with regional and national organizations as they shape their credentialing policies, assessment methods and training requirements to the needs of their populations.

This philosophy is reflected in the growing variety of international credentials that are available or under development. Our website is designed to let you track our progress and understand our motives and methods as we strive to help the world's underserved or never-served.

This site will grow and evolve along with NBCC-I and with the world's increasingly sophisticated use of the Internet.
